plugged in

This illustration was recently done for the just-released fall edition of Lilipoh Magazine.  The article detailed the place of technology in our world, how schools have to hustle to keep up with what technology is coming down the pike and how we as humans can be in harmony with it (instead of being dominated by it).

My take was the idea that technology/web/connectivity lets us pursue our ideas faster by making knowledge easy to access, and helps bring fourth our ideas to the outside world through the easy means of broadcasting that the web and social media has allowed us.  The walls on the left and right represent the possible negative side effects - the blinders that people can adopt to solutions outside of the digital world.
